Autumn air

The hillside is built from long, layered strokes that lean and cross over one another. Thin marks break up the edges, so the slopes and buildings feel pulled apart in places. Light sits in quick, pale bands across the top and catches on the grasses below. The surface stays rough and busy, with dotted passages and dragged paint through the center and lower edge.
